Garden Development

Garden Development involves one of our designers looking at your garden and recommending ways to improve the existing beds, plants, pots and features. This is an option between Consultation and Design.

The Process

Stage 1 Initial meeting: We look at what you need and what the garden requires. From here we draw up a Fee Proposal - once accepted we move to Stage 2.

Stage 2 Site analysis and Sketch Design: Once the fee proposal is accepted, we conduct a site analysis. From the information gathered in Stage 1 and the site analysis, we then choose planting and hardscape materials for the areas discussed. We will also gather precedent images and draw up sketches. Once these are prepared, we have a second meeting to discuss the plans, materials, plants and any changes.

Stage 3 Final package: Based on the decisions made at Stage 2, we draft final sketches showing plants and materials. We will compile a plant schedule with corresponding images and notes on soil improvement. Once drafted, we schedule a meeting where you sign off the final package. Once the final plan has been approved, we can provide you with an installation quote.

Rates

Design: Charged at an hourly rate of $165 per hour
Drafting and Administration: Charged at an hourly rate of $88 per hour
