KITCHEN GARDEN

With a great love of cooking, the clients were clear from the start that they needed to have a selection of edible plants and there was a strong possibility there would be chooks! The balcony adjacent to the kitchen was transformed into their own kitchen garden. Planted with a rich array of herbs and vegetables, the large planters nestled between the outdoor lounge add a functional and visually interesting plant selection.  After a trial run from Rent a Chook, the clients decided the chooks were here to stay. They are helping reduce household waste by being fed food scraps and dig around in the lower garden providing at least one egg a day sometimes more!
